GET READY FOR A FAREWELL

From the first realization that a farewell is necessary to the completion of a ceremonial last farewell, many questions need to be asked and many decisions made.

Can this end? What help do I need? How will the ceremony be designed? What should be included in the memorial service? And so on. We have extensive knowledge of all phases and difficulties of a last farewell and help you through the entire process.

Need a companion?

The road to a last farewell is often long and winding, especially when it comes to letting go of established structures and systems. Support may therefore be needed throughout the often complex and painful journey from denial to a dignified farewell.

Because decommissioning and other complex endings are such a difficult art, both special skills and a different mindset are required than in other change processes. Therefore, it may be wise to get help from our consultants at an early stage.

Farewell Services

CEREMONY HOST

The Ceremony Host helps with everything practical

A ceremonial host has many practical responsibilities both before, during and after the ceremony. They make sure that the mourners can feel confident that everything will go as planned in connection with the ceremony, so that they do not have to think about anything other than being present in the moment.

OFFICIANT

When do I need to hire an officiant?

The officiant plans and leads the farewell ceremony. The officiant will also be the one who will be responsible for most of the speech during the ceremony.

If the last farewell takes place in a church, the priest is usually officiant, but at a secular farewell ceremony, anyone can have this role.

FLOWERS & MUSIC

Flowers and music add a lot to the ceremony

Flowers act as something to rest your eyes on, while also giving the ceremony a personal touch. And few things matter more in the design of a personal farewell than the choice of music.

PROGRAM CARDS

A Program Card helps a lot

A program card makes it easier for those present by serving as a guide on how the ceremony will be held.

The program card also serves another practical function, that you can save it as a memory of the farewell.

MEMORIAL SERVICE

Memorial service after the ceremony

To gather after a farewell service to remember and eat something together often feels comforting. It creates an opportunity to talk, share memories and socialize in peace and quiet.

It is common to eat and drink something, sometimes speeches are held and music is played. The memorial service, like the farewell ceremony, can be designed to reflect what we have said goodbye to.

We can help you design your ad

A farewell announcement is a common and effective way to announce the location and time of the farewell ceremony and memorial service. It also usually says if there is a dress code for the ceremony. You decide where the farewell advertisement will be posted.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Minimum impact on the environment

Our farewell service takes a unique approach to environmental challenges. Taking a last farewell of dysfunctional and/or end-of-life cultural artifacts is a very effective way to reduce, or ever nullify, their environmental impact. At the same time, it promotes the emergence of a more dignified and caring social climate.
