Ars Moriendi does not boast about products and services that have as little environmental impact as possible. On the other hand, our farewell service takes a unique approach to environmental challenges.
Taking farewell of dysfunctional and/or worn-out cultural artifacts is a powerful tool for reducing one’s environmental impact. At the same time, it promotes the emergence of a more dignified and caring social climate.
Environmentally friendly product line
For this reason, we do not maintain a specific environmentally friendly product line, as the most sustainable choice we can offer our customers is to help them say goodbye to as many artifacts, habits, systems, structures, and institutions as possible.
Minimized material and energy consumption
Carrying out farewell ceremonies and other services around the country does, however, entail some environmental impact. In all aspects of Ars Moriendi’s operations, we therefore strive to minimize material waste, unnecessary administration and bureaucracy, vehicle use, and so on.
There is no independent party that can certify or eco-label our business because Farewell Bureaus is a new concept. However, if such a certification service existed, we would refrain from using it, as it would mean promoting unnecessary bureaucracy.
Instead, we choose to fully rely on our customers to understand and sympathize with our concept of reducing environmental impact: the Art of Renunciation.
